The UNC Asheville Track & Field team announced the program’s 2025 indoor and outdoor competition schedule on Tuesday (Nov. 26). The Bulldogs will kick off their season on Jan. 11 at the University of South Carolina’s Gamecock Opener.

INDOOR SEASON

Asheville has four regular-season meets before turning its attention to the Conference Championships. This year, the championships are being held in Columbia, S.C., on the campus of South Carolina. The Bulldogs have two regular-season meets at South Carolina.

Asheville travels to Virginia to compete at Virginia Tech and Liberty.

Pending qualifiers, the team or individuals will travel to Virginia Beach, Va., to close out the indoor season at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships March 14-15.

Asheville will travel to Charlotte to compete on the campus of UNC Charlotte twice this season. During the Bulldogs’ second trip to Charlotte, some team members will also compete in the Catamount Classic hosted by Western Carolina.

Asheville will compete in the Tennessee Invite before hosting the Asheville Bulldog Invite for the second year in a row. This will be the first of two meets on the Karl Straus Track, as Asheville will be hosting the Big South Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May.

Pending qualifiers, Asheville’s next stop after the Big South Championships will be Jacksonville, Fla., at the East First Round, and the National Championships site will be Eugene, Ore.
