I’m sorry to be the bearer of sad news. After conducting a search, I found that Mike McDaniel, the current head coach of the Miami Dolphins, is alive and active in his role. However, I did find some sad news related to a former head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
Former Miami Dolphins head coach, Tony Sparano, passed away on July 22, 2018, at the age of 56.
Sparano was the Dolphins’ head coach from 2008 to 2011 and led the team to a surprising 11-5 record in his first season.
He was known for his no-nonsense coaching style and was respected by his players and peers.
Sparano’s death was met with an outpouring of tributes and condolences from the NFL community, with many remembering him as a dedicated coach and a good man.
