Sam Shade Named Head Football Coach at Alabama A&M
Alabama A&M University has announced the appointment of Sam Shade as the new head football coach. Shade, a veteran coach with a strong track record, will lead the Bulldogs into the 2025 season.
Shade’s coaching experience spans over two decades, with stints at several top programs. He’s known for his defensive expertise and ability to develop talented players.
“I’m honored to be the new head coach at Alabama A&M,” Shade said. “I’m excited to build on the program’s rich tradition and lead the Bulldogs to success on and off the field.”
Alabama A&M Athletic Director, Bryan Hicks, praised Shade’s hiring, saying, “Coach Shade brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our program. We’re confident he’ll be a great fit for our team and university community.”
Shade takes over the Bulldogs program looking to improve on last season’s record. With his leadership and coaching acumen, expectations are high for a successful 2025 season.
